Green Building & The Energy Star Homes Program
We are participants in both the Austin Energy Green Homes Program & the Energy Star Homes Certification Program. We encourage all of our clients to allow us to help them alter their home plans and specifcations to make sure that they comply with the standards that have been set by these programs. This section of our website goes into detail about what these programs involve and what the green building and Energy Star Homes guidlines are. Utilizing the ideas that were set forth through these programs homes can be designed to be drastically more energy efficient than conventionally built custom homes.
